Have very short release cycles. Two weeks has been a good for us on both web and desktop projects.

  • Shorter cycles are easier to plan, schedule, and estimate.
  • Shorter cycles means quicker feedback from product owners.
  • Keeps everyone involved results-oriented.
  • Combine with Expansion/Contraction Cycles for healthier software.
